At Masha Schwartz Art, we redefine creativity through our signature Surreabstract style, a fusion of surrealism and abstract expressionism. Our art transforms spaces into hubs of healing, imagination, and bold ideas.
Founded in 1998 by Masha Schwartz, a professional artist, entrepreneur, and public speaker with over 20 years of experience in fine arts and business leadership, our mission has always been to challenge perceptions, spark innovation, and inspire emotional transformation through art.
Masha began breaking traditional rules of art in high school, leading to the creation of her own distinct style. That early rebellion became the foundation of an organization focused on restoring imagination in a world overloaded with digital replication. Today, where anyone can reproduce high-definition images at the press of a button, art that pushes beyond realism is more needed than ever. Our work delivers energy, feeling, and depth that artificial intelligence cannot replicate.

Help others discover the power of Surreabstract Creativity.
Accelerating innovation and well-being worldwide by increasing the use of imagination and Surreabstract creativity.
Since 2001, Masha Schwartz Art has partnered with nonprofits such as Hands on DC and SOME to create educational murals in schools and homeless shelters across the DC area. These murals are designed to inspire creativity, leadership, and confidence in future entrepreneurs.
We believe bold color and composition can rewire how people think, feel, and engage with the world around them.
Every piece of art we create is made to spark conversation, elevate emotion, and activate purpose in a space.
Art should be beautiful, but also smart. We blend visual brilliance with emotional and strategic depth—serving collectors, businesses, and innovators alike.
The art world is shifting. As minority groups become the collective majority in the U.S. and Europe, institutions are beginning to reevaluate how they approach inclusion across race and gender.
85% of artists in major U.S. museums are white

In 2024, the global art market faced significant challenges, with sales declining 12% to an estimated $57.5 billion. This marked the second consecutive year of contraction, influenced by geopolitical tensions, economic pressures, and shifting buyer behaviors.
Transaction Volume Increase: Despite the decline in sales value, the number of transactions rose by 3% to 40.5 million, indicating a robust activity in lower-priced segments.
